Book/Music/Lyrics of For Tonight (ImaGEN, 2015)

Spencer Williams is a composer, educator, director, and producer. Spencer co-wrote and produced a developmental reading of For Tonight at the 2014New York Musical Theatre Festival; a hit that sold out and extended. For Tonight was also a recent finalist in the New Horizons Music Festival and was also produced as a staged reading at Goodspeed Musicals' New Works Festival in January 2015. This fall he will be traveling to the Isle of Man to direct For Tonight at TheatreFest '15 -- the UK concert premiere. "One Step (Don't Forget Me)", was just a Top 12 finalist in the 'Drewe & Stiles Best Song Award' and was performed in the West End, at the Garrick Theatre, in May 2015. He currently teaches Drama and Voice at the prestigious Bishop's School in La Jolla, CA coming directly from an eight-years of teaching at Pinewood School in Los Altos Hills, CA where he was the Performing Arts Director. Spencer recently directed and produced An Evening with Stuart Brayson (US Premiere), Shrek, the musical, Whisper House (high school premiere), Snoopy!!! and Les Miserables.
