Julia Lenardon has been a working professional actor for over 20 years and has acted in many regional theatres in Canada, including the Stratford Festival and most recently, at the new Montgomery Classical Theatre in Prince Edward Island. Voice Teaching training at York University led to apprenticeships at The Denver Center Theatre Company, The Canadian National Voice Intensive and the M.F.A. Acting Program at Harvard University and full time teaching at Michigan State University, and The National Theatre School. Currently she is Voice Instructor for the Banff/Citadel Professional Theatre Training Program and on the Voice Teaching Team at the Tom Todoroff Conservatory in New York. She has been English/Dialect Consultant and Coach for various theatre productions including: La Belle et la Bete (Pilon/Lemieux 4D Art), Alice in Wonderland (Tout a Trac), Intimate Apparel, God of Carnage, Doubt (Centaur Theatre), Equus, Old Wicked Songs (Segal Centre). Dialect coach for films including: Le piege american, Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde (for Dougray Scott). Immortals, Durham County: Season 3 and, On the Road, Warm Bodies, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed I,II, III.
