Jodi joins the MSU faculty after previously serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Southern Maine. Jodi received her M.F.A. in Costume Design from Purdue University.
Select costume design credits from the University of Southern Maine include: Urinetown, Servant of Two Masters, Equus, The Magic Flute, Six Characters in Search of an Author, The Laramie Project, Shakuntala, Company and Blood Brothers.
Jodi has worked at regional theatres around the United States. Select credits include: Two Rooms and Lobby Hero (Portland Stage Company), West Side Story and South Pacific (Maine State Music Theatre), Gypsy (Texas Star Theatre), Deathtrap (Lewiston Public Theatre), Driving Miss Daisy and Enchanted April (The Good Theatre). Additional theatres that Jodi has had the pleasure of working at include: Madison Repertory Theatre (Madison, WI), Cortland Summer Repertory Theatre (Cortland, NY) and American Players Theatre (Spring Green, WI), Summer Circle Theatre (East Lansing, MI) and Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN)
Jodi has served on the Board of Directors for Add Verb Productions. Add Verb’s focus is theatre for social change. Add Verb credits include: When Turtles Make Love: Real Talk Between Parents and Teens, and The Ugly Duckling. The Ugly Duckling film documentary was directed by Academy award winning director Fawn Yacker. Jodi’s costumes were featured in both the stage production and documentary film.
