“If war comes, to die well is the victor’s crown.”
Euripides’ cautionary tale of war, Trojan Women, speaks to our troubling times. The women of Troy bemoan their foolish men who are engaged in battle. The women gain communal strength through storytelling and debate, as guest director and Provost Visiting Faculty Artist, David Furumoto, infuses his unique Asian take into a Greek classic.
