Sheila Marie Everett and Jovon Shuck Everett have agreed to match our goal dollar for dollar to raise a total of $10,000 for The Summer Circle Theatre Diamond Fund. Through generous donations, we can financially support nearly thirty MSU student actors, designers, managers, and technicians work at the craft they love — and a FREE Kids Camp!
Sheila Marie Everett (BA Theatre, 1999) and Jovon Shuck Everett (BA Theatre, 1998) are both native Michiganders who met and married on campus at Michigan State University. Today, they make their home in Southwest Michigan. Sheila Marie has had a diverse career in finance, publishing, and most recently, immunodiagnostics. Jovon has worked on and Off-Broadway, regionally, at Radio City Music Hall, and on the National Tours of many Broadway shows as a Stage Manager. Together they are proud to support the future of Summer Circle Theatre.
Since 1960, the MSU Department of Theatre has produced a wide variety of outdoor performances on the MSU campus. Presenting a blend of traditional, musical, and provocative new plays, Summer Circle Theatre (SCT) provides a professional venue for MSU students and offers free theatre to Mid-Michigan audiences. SCT productions also utilize the talents of community members and professional artists.
On Tuesday, December 3, Spartans near and far will come together to make a better tomorrow. #GiveGreenDay is a chance to give back and make an impact on current and future Spartans.
