A Wrinkle In Time by Madeleine L’Engle has endeared itself in the hearts of readers for generations. Using Tracy Young’s truthful and supremely theatrical adaptation, MSU’s Department of Theatre takes impossible feats of fiction and brings them to life in bold, imaginative, and thrilling fashion in this theatrical version of the classic novel.
The story thrusts three children into peril beyond their years and understanding. It challenges us to look within ourselves to find our grit and face our fears and to embrace the powerful, unwavering force of love.
Directed by Assistant Professor Ryan Welsh, the MSU ensemble is led by Anna Ryzenga, sophomore Theatre major, who plays the role of Meg Murray. Supported by brilliant designs by students and faculty alike, and incorporating next-generation storytelling techniques with media projections, this production offers an immersive look into this classic tale.
