The Dance Minor is open to any student enrolled at Michigan State University! preference for admittance into the dance classes will be given to students who declare their Dance Minor officially.
To complete the minor, students must complete 16 credit hours of courses in Dance. 12 credit hours will be earned in a variety of Dance Technique classes. These classes are offered in a variety of dance styles and need not be taken in any specific order. Dance Technique I, II, III, and IV can be repeated as desired. 4 additional credit hours will be earned in a Choreography class and a Dance Practicum.
