Dancing In Our Time, under the artistic direction of Sherrie Barr. Come and experience a mélange of styles and choreographic premieres. This concert exposes the audience to the gravity defying world of dance and features choreography by Provost Visiting Faculty Artist, Jin-Wen Yu.

Topic: Student rehearsal assistants will be sharing insights of the each choreographic process, from the magic of inspiration to the discipline of rehearsal.

 

*Sherrie Barr’s choreography is supported through IRGP. The dance will feature elders of the Burcham Retirement Community Center who have been working with student dancers since September 2008.

The box office at the RCAH Auditorium opens one (1) hour prior to the show with doors opening 30 minutes prior. All tickets sold at the RCAH Box Office are payable in cash, by check or credit card. Checks must be made payable to Michigan State University and contain a printed address. A valid driver’s license is required to purchase by check. Seating is limited.
