Peter Verhaeghe HeadshotMFA Design Candidate

Peter Verhaeghe graduated Magna Cum Laude from Albion College in December of 2014 with a BA in Theatre. While at Albion College he designed both the scenic and lighting elements for Urinetown: The Musical and the lighting elements for The Phoenix Lottery and Student Workshops 2014. He also served as the assistant scenic designer for The Way of the World.Alongside Amber Marisa Cook he presented a faux blood technique at the USITT 2014 Poster Session in Fort Worth, TX after being the assistant costume designer for Big Love at the Peppermint Creek Theatre in Lansing. Also there he designed the sound and lighting elements for Clybourne Park. During the summer of 2015 Peter was the properties master for To Kill a MockingbirdShe Loves MeShrek the Musical, and Moonlight and Magnoliasat the Black Hills Playhouse in Custer, SD. Peter is now continuing his education in hopes that he can one day teach technical theatre and design at the collegiate level.
