MFA Design Candidate

Freddy Pascolini is originally from Buffalo NY and works at the Rapids Theater in Niagara Falls NY.  He holds various rotating positions such as a house lighting designer for concerts, weddings, and special events, stage manager, house manager, tech crew, video operator, box office, street team and bar back. 

Some of his favorite concerts are Steele Panther (opener, support, & headliner LD), The Fitz & the Tantrums (tech crew, follow spot), Alter Bridge (tech crew), The Struts (opener & support band LD), The Queens of the Stone Age (tech crew, bar back), Blue October (stage manager).

In the education world Freddy earned his B.A. in Theater with a focus on lighting and set design from Buffalo State College where he designed the sets for Fuddy Meers, Enron, The Shape of Things, and Doubt.  Lighting designs include dance concerts, director’s showcase, and Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory – Andre De Shields’s one man show presented at the Ann Frank Project a yearly diversity festival where Freddy was also the TD.
