Alex Gay, works as a lighting and sound designer and technical director, freelancing within the Michigan professional and educational theatre community. He most recently designed lights for Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit’s Singsation. Other recent design credits include lighting for Saginaw Valley State University’s Moon Over Buffalo, Only the Best: 20 Years of Mosaic for Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit, Lighting and Technical Direction for Williamston Theatre’s Ebenezer, Lighting and Technical Direction for Dracula at Concordia University Ann Arbor, Lighting for Red, White and Tuna and The Understudy, both at Williamston Theatre, Lighting for Evil Dead: The Musical at City Theatre (Detroit), and Sound Design for boom at Williamston Theatre. Alex is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and resides in Ypsilanti, MI.
