Two plays in repertory. Two boarding schools -- one for boys and one for girls. Two rumors of homosexuality as love is denied and discovered.

The Children's Hour written in 1934 by Lillian Hellman concerns Karen and Martha, two single women who run a boarding school for girls. A problem student spreads a rumor about the two which destroys their lives.

Tea and Sympathy written in 1954 by Robert Anderson takes place at a boarding school for boys. The wife of a faculty member defends one of the boys who is rumored to be homosexual. As she and the student spend more time together, they realize their true feelings.
